Music for All@SMSG is a voluntary organisation. Our Events Manager ensures that each Event has a nominated Event Leader in attendance before, during and after anevent.

Attracting audiences/ticket sales

Music for All@SMSG willadvertise events on its website and on poster displays outside the church. Groups hiring the venue must arrange their own publicity and ticketingand provide their own programmes. We ask that you promote Music for All@SMSG in your publicity materials,usingresources our Publicity Officer will provide.

Arrangementson the day

Our nominated Event Leader will make arrangements with you to:

Open Church and Hall at agreed times for rehearsal and concert;
Arrange for seating adjustments before as agreed and return seating after concert;
Familiarise you with lighting control and sound equipment;
Organise heating as appropriate;
Agree furniture requirements.


A refreshment service for events can be provided if required. Proceeds go to support the ongoing work of the Church and the venue.


Music for All@SMSG takes responsibility for the future maintenance of the musical facilities and also contribute to the Church’s running costs and restoration projects, which together cost many thousands of pounds a year. We therefore ask for a proportionate contributionfrom our users, based on the size and nature of each event, so at to continue to support a significant calendar of events throughoutthe year.There are a number of ways that fees can be negotiated, according to the type and purpose of event you are promoting, please contact us to discuss details.
